Introduction to Emotional Intelligence in the (Remote) Workplace

To understand the foundations of Emotional Intelligence. To get an opportunity to dig in and understand the framework and competencies of Emotional intelligence, in context with the broader foundations of their specific work environment (newly remote), changing expectations, and clientele. By the end of this virtual workshop, each individual will have had an opportunity to understand their top 3 EI competencies and their 3 areas of EI development to maximize their emotionally intelligent success.  


Webinar Outcomes:

By the end of the Intro to Emotional Intelligence, the participants will have: 

  • Gained an insight into emotional intelligence, what it is & how to leverage it 
  • Developed an awareness of the EQ-I 2.0 model, used to measure emotional intelligence 
  • Reflected on self awareness and self management of personal emotions in the context of COVID-19 and the changing landscape of our workplaces 
  • Explored ways to advance personal/professional/team effectiveness by fostering emotional intelligence 
  • Recognized emotions in others, and how to best respond to emotions (of self and others) in order to inspire high performance 
  • Understood the consequences of behaviour, weigh decisions before action, and understand how emotional intelligence defuse or ignite conflict in teams
